Clavé Biodesign is an early stage venture derived from cutting edge imaging technology developed at the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University. Drs. Patterson and Veleva are founders of the company.

Clavé Biodesign has developed technologies to target circulating vascular cells for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in the oncology space. The potential of our company has been recognized by the National Science Foundation and Clavé Biodesign is a recipient of Phase I Small Business Technology Transfer Award.
